In our test rooms, it was able to clean the floors thoroughly and accurately - it did particularly well on rugs but it took multiple runs to fully clean certain areas of soiled wood. Its LIDAR navigation system works very well, avoiding bumps into furniture or crossing power cords.
It's a bit sluggish on the stairs, but that's to be expected from a compact robot that's designed to overcome obstacles. The only drawback is its mopping pad attachment which was difficult to hold in place during our tests. It is also not capable of dealing with dust that has dried on, making it more like an ordinary vacuum cleaner than a robot mop.
Despite these shortcomings, it's still a solid option for those looking for a hands-off cleaning experience that can handle carpets that are bare or low-pile with equal competence. It has decent suction, which allowed it to pick up fine dust and pet hair from carpets. One of the most appealing features is its automatic carpet recognition which increases the strength of the vacuuming to take on dirt that is embedded. It's also simple to use and has a handy charging dock that automatically empties the dust bin when it's full. This is a great benefit for flat dwellers.
Cleaning Apps
Nearly every robot vacuum, mop, and sweeper comes with an application that lets you personalize cleaning routines, pick rooms to clean, plan cleaning sessions, and alter settings like suction, water level and scrub power.
